·         Higher residual strength after shattering of the shell and preventing line drop

·         Higher mechanical strength and less damage during transport, storage and installation

·         Less susceptible to cement growth due to using aluminous cement

·         About 25% lighter

·         More resistance against splitting and impact

·         Better aging performance and less decrease of electro mechanical characteristics in long term

·         Easier inspection and maintenance with lower cost due to glass transparency

·         Closeness of thermal expansion coefficient of insulator parts, namely glass, pin and the cap.
